Paragliding in Nepal gives an opportunity for aerial view of the Himalayas. Pokhara, the beautiful lakeside town at the foot of the Annapurna mountains offers paragliding to see the Mahabharat range. As other flying sports gliding season in Nepal is November through February, the best months being November and December. There are various deals for the paragliding veterans and novices. Three-day introductory course is offered to beginners while tandem flights where one can fly with instructor are offered for those not so experienced.

Mountain River Rafting offer package deals that include introductory flights before taking off on a six-day para-trek. While on the paratrek, the flyers camp in village with local sherpa guides. Courses

Small flights build up you confidence, then you start your high solo flight under radio guidance and go through a series of exercises and tasks that take you step by step to the Freedom of the sky.

Fewa Lake and Mountain Panoramic View

25 minutes jeep drive takes to our take off in Sarangkot, located 1600 m. above the sea level. We can see the Himalayan range with 3 mountains over 8000 m. We take off down the slope, soaring upwards on the air current. An incomparably stunning panorama view of the Himalayas and below us lush tropical jungles, thundering rivers, terraced hills and remote valleys. We land by Fewa Lake.

The Cross Country Adventure

Taking clouds of a bird as a guide, we use the thermal to soar and circle up and down from one mountain to the next.

Our backdrop will be the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and Manaslu Mountain. Longer and It is the different experience of flying.

 

Ultra light Aircraft


Ultra light aircraft take off from Pokhara airport and offer spectacular views of the lakes, mountains and villages. This is an ideal way to see life from a new perspective. The choice of Pokhara Valley for ultra-light aircraft is appropriate chiefly because of the proximity of the mountains, and the scenic lakes.
