Note: With all this above points Along with our high quality self-balling raft, we provide helmets, light weight plastic paddles, life jackets, and first aid kit. We provide plentiful, healthy and hygienically prepared food and drinks. Our equipment is of the highest quality, clean and well maintained.
Schedule
Day 1: Drive to Dolalghat
Morning start drive to Dolalghat, the rafting starting point of Sunkoshi, self breakfast on the way at Dhulikhel, Arrive on the river, fix the gears and get ready for rafting. Till now our crews will be prepare the lunch. After quick lunch your expedition leader will deliver a safety talk and provide all paddling gear for the trip. After few hours rafting, choose the campsite on the river beach, evening dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Raft
Your trip will continue further - you will encounter a big class IV+rapid “ Meat Grinder”. Right after few meters below you’ll meet another river called Tama Kosi. The camp will be set on the left with a beach on the confluence.
Day 3: Likhu Khola
After few kilometers below with the confluence of the Likhu Khola you’ll encounter a class III+ rapid Anxiety’ soon followed by a long class 4 rapid ‘High Anxiety’ with a large hole on the left halfway down and a series of holes at the bottom. Continue floating and overnight camp.
Day 4: Camp at Raighat
Starting with several class II to III+ rapids you will be encountered one of the hardest rapid named ‘Harkapur” class V. After few kilometers rafting, camp at Raighat after the confluence of Dudhkoshi from Mt. Everest region.
Day 5: Camping
The river starts widen from today. After some II to III class rapids you encounter with another nice rapids called “Jaws” class IV+. Continue paddling and camp on the riverside.
Day 6: Overnight camp near by the waterfall
You will encounter few IV+ rapids this day followed by Jungle corridor, the long Continuous whitewater and both side waterfalls make your wonderful experience. Overnight camp near by the waterfall
Day 7: Sunkoshi
This is the second last day of the of classic Sunkoshi. You will encounter few III+ rapids, overnight camp nearby Ranitar.
Day 8: Rafting at Sunkoshi
The last stretch of river which brings you to the last class IV+ ‘Big Dipper’ is a series of huge standing waves. A few kilometer later Big Arun and Tamur joins together to form the Sapta Kosi. Then you float along on the powerful current, the hills dramatically give way to totally flat Terai and the northern plains of India. This is the end of a classic and memorable river journey. We will finish our trip to Sunkoshi at Chatara, Rafting on Sunkoshi river and O/N at Royal Chitwan National Park, After lunch transfer to Chitwan National Park (approx 7-8 hours drive). Once you are in National park you can do easy activities
Day 9: Royal Chitwan National Park
Full day activities in national park (elephant ride inside the national park, canoeing, jungle walk, visit elephant breeding centelike visiting traditional Tharu villages, sun set view from next to Rapti river and cultural dance at the evening)
Day 10: Royal Chitwan National Park and Kathmandu (Approx. 6 hour drive)
Early morning bird watching and after breakfast drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus, transfer to hotel.
